Happy happy birthday to my favorite daughter!!

We now have a teenager! Brooke is 13 and we are not mad about it! This girl is such a delight. She is kind, quiet, hilarious, so smart (4.0 gpa!), loves volleyball and her friends, asks to babysit to earn money, plays with her brothers and is typically always agreeable. She is logical like her momma so if we explain what the rules are and why, she doesn’t give us a hard time. (She rarely gives us a hard time anyways.)

Yesterday, Gordon asked her what wisdom or advice she would give her younger brothers and after thinking about it for a while, she said ‘don’t worry about what other people think of you. Their opinions really don’t matter.’

The world is a better place because of you, Brooke, and we are so thrilled you came first.💗 Happy Birthday baby girl!
