Myande has transformed and upgraded the original strains, fermentation and extraction process, and developed a new fermentation technology to produce L-lysine. The state of the art is that L-lysine fermentation acid production 185~210g/L (based on hydrochloride), sugar acid conversion rate of 65~70.0%, fermentation cycle is ≤ 46h, extraction yield is more than 99.0%.
Using advanced extraction technology, lysine sulfate fermentation liquid is filled with corn syrup or corn cob carrier to prepare 70% lysine sulfate, with less waste discharge, energy saving, environmental protection and high yield.
Advanced equipment to achieve uniformity of reliability and economy. The equipment adopts the effective combination of multi-effect concentration technology and spray granulation system, which realizes energy saving, environmental protection, greatly reduces labour intensity and embodies the convenience of operation and control.

Section Description
1) Fermentation Section
The fermentation workshop mainly includes aseptic air preparation and fermentation part, The compressed air from the air compressor station will go through dehydrated, degreased, heated, generally filtered, and then through a high-efficiency filter to enter the 1st seeding tank, the 2nd seeding tank and fermentation tank. Three-stage fermentation will be adopted, the strains are cultured by 1st seeding tank, 2nd seeding tank and fermentation tank, and then fermentation liquid is put into the extraction workshop.
After all the culture medium required to put into seeding tank, through sterilization and cooling process, the strain will be inoculated, strain cultured is under a suitable process conditions, and pH and OD will be detected during the cultivation process, also microscopic examination is required, after strain meeting the requirements, it will be transferred to the fermentation tank to be inoculated.
After the fermentation tank is sterilized, the sterile air will be added to maintain the pressure, and the medium enters through continuous sterilization system. Then qualified and matured seeding liquid which comes from seeding tank will be inoculated. Culture under required process conditions, pH, OD, glucose and L-lysine content be detected during the cultivation procedure. After the fermentation process stopped, fermentation liquid will be heated and put into the extraction plant for subsequent processing.

2) Continuous Sterilization System
The medium continuous sterilization consists of base material continuous sterilization, concentrated sugar continuous sterilization, ammonium sulfate continuous sterilization, nutrients continuous sterilization, and antifoam sterilization. And the concentrated sugar, ammonium sulfate and nutrients will respectively enter into the fed-batch tank which already is sterilized, and pressure of tank will be maintained by sterile air.

3) Seed Culture
According to the design, each tank of 1st seed can be inoculated with one tank of 2nd seeding tank, inorganic salts and auxiliary materials is required to be added, steam sterilization, control air volume 1:0.5, temperature 37℃, culture time 15-18h, transfer the seed when OD = 562nm is about 0.8-0.9, the seed tank is cleaned by hot sodium hydroxide, seed tank operation cycle is 30 hours.
According to the input amount and volume of 2nd seeding tank, we adopt sterilization. Adding inorganic salts and auxiliary materials and cultivating the 1st seed, control the air volume 1:0.5~0.75, 37°C, culture time 15-18h, transfer the seed when OD = 562nm is about 0.8-0.9, the seeding tank will be cleaned and sterilization with empty, seed tank operation cycle is 35 hours.

4) Fermentation Culture
The prepared fermentation medium is sterilized, adjusted pH, and then be inoculated by matured 2nd seed, take care to control culture conditions, thereby accumulate the desired fermentation product. Lysine fermentation medium is a typical aerobic fermentation.
After fermentation tank is sterilized in empty, according to the input amount and volume of the tank, we adopt continuous sterilization.
Inoculate and culture, control air volume 1:0.5, 37℃, during the cultivation process, by stirring, air volume and tank pressure to control dissolved oxygen, culture time is 40-45h, each fermentation tank is normally cleaned and sterilized in empty, and regularly cook in alkali. Seed tank operation cycle is 60 hours.

Extraction and Refining Process
1) Sulfate Fermentation Liquid Concentration
After the sulphate fermentation liquid discharged out from the tank, it will be heated to 80℃ by the heat exchanger and pumped into a concentrate liquid feed tank, and concentrated and evaporated by using TVR evaporate.
The liquid level, temperature and flow of each position are equipped with on-site control and display, and the signal can be transmitted to the central control room.

2) 70% Lysine Mixed and Allocated
Before the granulation process, the concentrated solution should be is mixed and allocated. When the purity of lysine is higher than 70%, the filler will be added. When the lysine purity is less than 70%, the lysine sulfate fermentation liquid will be pumped to increase the purity to 70%.

3) Spray and Granulation
The spraying, granulating and drying process of lysine sulfate is carried out in a granulation bed. The slurry is pumped to the two-fluid spray gun through the slurry pump and is atomized into fine droplets by the compressed air, sprayed on the surface of the solid particles (seeds) in the fluidized state, and the particles gradually grow through the coating and agglomeration. The moisture is heated and evaporated by hot air and a built-in heater, and finally, dried particles are formed and discharged through the bottom discharge valve.

4) Product Screening and Packaging
After drying and granulation, the finished product is transported by air to the silo of the packaging equipment, then goes to fully automatic packaging line, and packaged into the warehouse.
